This week our fantastic grounds and maintenance crew completed a significant phase of work they’ve been working on over the past few months. You might have noticed that the gardens around the marina are looking particularly beautiful; the team have planted new grasses, laid river stones and rocks, and barked the gardens. They’ve even carefully placed some maritime and driftwood sculptures, keeping the gardens with a seaside feel.
The bark will help retain moisture during the (hopefully) hot summer, meaning less demand on watering. The rocks and planting, while also looking amazing, will help keep the bark in the gardens and off the footpaths.
Phil Walls, our dedicated gardener, took the lead on the garden project, with help from Troy Bailey (our maintenance supervisor) and Rick Doran (a long-term member of the operations team).
This is the start of a series of initiatives the team are working on to keep Gulf Harbour Marina beautiful, so watch this space!
